What is a Bridal Help Session?

A Bridal Help Session is your opportunity to get some of those wedding planning questions (specifically the ones that are stressing you out) answered from a wedding planning expert without paying the high cost associated with hiring a full-time wedding planner. You will be able to video chat for a short period of time on an as-needed basis to get the specific help you need!

How long are the Bridal Help Sessions?

Our Bridal Help Sessions can be scheduled around your own personal schedule in two convenient lengths of time - 30 minutes and 60 minutes.

How is the Bridal Helpline different from other wedding resources?

The Bridal Helpline is the first service of its kind that allows you to engage wedding planners who have been through the wedding planning trenches.  Our planners are your extra layer of confidence when it comes to making those final decisions you may have researched hundreds of times. Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life and we want to help you find the answers you need to have the wedding day you deserve!

Can I use the Bridal Helpline if I already have a Wedding Planner?

Certainly! If you are already working with a wedding planner and just want a second opinion, we are here to help. Our goal is to fill in the gaps during your wedding planning process and make your life easier, no matter where you are in the process!

How do I schedule my Bridal Help Session?

 Scheduling your Bridal Help Session couldn’t be easier! Simply find an available time slot on the scheduling calendar that works for your schedule.  Then select and pay for your desired appointment length. Then you will receive an email confirmation with all of your appointment details. It is as simple as that!

What type of questions should I ask my Helpline Planner during my Bridal Help Session?

Simply stated… Anything goes! This is your time to get help on any aspect of your wedding planning process, and we want to make sure you get all of your questions answered. We know there are many questions that you could ask, so here is a list of some of the common questions that our brides ask:

  • Since I am planning my own wedding, should I hire a day of coordinator?

  • Are there benefits to having a seated reception dinner versus a buffet?

  • Can you recommend flowers for my centerpieces some size, but not break the bank?

 

Also, if you have any specific links to images or Pinterest boards you have created, you can provide those upon booking your session for your planner to view. 

NINE

How far in advance do I need to schedule my Bridal Help Session?

In order to make sure that your Bridal Helpline Planner is prepared for your session, we require all sessions to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. This provides your assigned wedding planner with ample time to prepare to provide you with the specific advice you are looking for.

TEN

What if I have a wedding emergency and need to schedule a same day session?

Although not a common occurrence, sometimes Brides cancel their sessions and there will be a same day opening on the calendar.  If you happen to see a same day opening, we would love to help you through your emergency situation, so please schedule your call!

SEVEN

Can I select a specific Bridal Helpline Planner for my scheduled session?

All of our planners are wedding planners with a wide range of experience in all areas of the wedding planning process. You can definitely select your favorite one when scheduling your session. But don’t worry, even if they don't happen to be available, no matter who you select, you will receive the same quality of advice!

EIGHT

Do Bridal Helpline Planners provide vendor referrals?

Our planners have engaged with local vendors in the city of Houston and nationwide, and will be able to give you recommendations on resources you may be able to benefit from. Depending on whether or not you are based in the same city as the planner you select, you may not be able to receive local vendor referrals.

ELEVEN

On the day of my Bridal Help Session, how will I connect with my Planner?

When you schedule your Session, you will receive a confirmation email with the link for your Google Meet Virtual Video Call with you Bridal Helpline Planner.  Just click the link on the day and time of your session to get all the wedding advice you need!

TWELVE

Can I extend my Bridal Help Session if it is too short and I need some more time?

As of right now, we do not allow for session extensions since each of our Planners are assigned to Brides at least 24 hours in advance. If you need more time, don’t worry, you can always schedule another session!

THIRTEEN

What if I don’t agree with some of the advice that I receive from my Bridal Helpline Planner?

Although we do our very best to provide excellent service and advice, we know every bride is different.  There may times when you may not agree with some of the advice you receive during a Bridal Help session. If this happens, fret not! There is absolutely no pressure to use all the advice you receive. Our Planners are there to provide you with their expert opinion and equip you with the knowledge you need to make the most informed decision possible.

Are Bridal Helpline Planners experts in all faith and cultural based ceremony types?

Our Bridal Helpline Planners have experience in a wide array of ceremony types across different cultures and religious background. If you are looking for help pertaining to a specific type of faith-based or cultural wedding ceremony, please indicate that upon booking and we will certainly be glad to help!
